Haiku Master Buson

I found a little volume of Haiku by Master Buson which is perfect for this clear evening.

The going of spring!
The fading away of purple
from Tsukuba mountain.

world always leaving
spring,
the voice reflecting
a river.

Enjoyed catching up with you here today. On a clear day you can see forever... what is that from again?

I can imagine Tsukuba mountain now, in THIS morning on the picture. Sunset as sunrise are each day so different....

The haiku is my favorite poetry form, and these are great. Is the second one yours? It's very moving.

I find the photo mesmerising, and trust you won't mind that I copied it so I could sketch from it. I did that and am about to post the result as my latest daily sketch. As soon as I've done that I'll come back with a link so you can click right over and see!

Oh yeah, I'm mentioning you as my source and posting a link to here so folks can see where I got the image.

Be well, Princess.
