Princess Haiku discovers a beautiful blog "Cities Beneath the Sea"

Description: Michel Richard Putz

I recently discovered Cyan's blog "Cities Beneath the Sea." It frequently draws upon classical motifs and imagery in its discussions of classical and contemporary arts and science.

There is no Greek myth more compelling than the tale of Orpheus and Eurydeus. Cyan has collected 20 gorgeous images depicting this tale that are a delight to view. To see her photo show and read her latest post about Orpheus follow the path...

Thefarqueue is musing about Orpheus today also:

"Somnambulant dreaming as the morning sun shines
to allow the pavement warming
The trees nod dew-shaking in green agreement
that tomorrow is once again dawning...."

for the rest of this poem and another interesting post follow the fork in the road to Pisces Escariot.

If anyone else has a Orphic theme today leave me a message and I will add you on to this evolving discussion.
