Paganini was rumoured to have supernatural powers

The famous violinist and composer Niccolo Paganini was born under the sign of Scorpio in 1782, and rumored to have supernatural powers. Mystical lore and legend are closely associated with him. One famous story is that his mother, Teresa claimed to have a prophetic vision of him playing in a burning theater in the company of a horned guitarist. In other versions of the same story she witnessed an angelic annunciation, in a haze of light and incense telling her that he would be the world's greatest violinist. Paganini was known as a "fallen angel," "magician of the south and the "witch's brat." One would wonder who his publicist was.
