The Improvisations of flutist Paul Horn

After listening to a vintage recording of Paul Horn improvisations on his flute in the Taj Mahal, I am thinking about trying a little of this myself. This flute music is so different from the classicall exercises and pieces that I normally play that I feel hesitant to try. Perhaps it's the sleeping muse thing I wrote about yesterday; awakening creative self and following it into a new direction.

Although, I am not that fond of new age music, Paul Horn is different. The purity of his flute is a meditation and the music industry hadn't added ocean waves, electric pulsing and so forth.

Paul Horn continues to develop and grow as his artist and you can hear a video of his flute playing on my video box. It's located on the left bar of my blog and down a bit. Let me know if you like it.
