a perfect rose petal pink for a gown, said Princess Haiku
This is one of the flowers that I captured in the dahlia
garden in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco this year. The garden was a gift from
the San Francisco Dahlia Society. Thanks to the volunteers who presented the
City of San Francisco and its visitors with such a wondrous garden.

a flounce of flowers said, Princess Haiku
I encountered these flowers in the SF Dahlia Garden outside the Conservatory of Flowers and they are a sublime moment of pink. The nights grow longer and the moment of their bloom will soon end.

the last flowers of Autumn said, Princess Haiku
These lovely pink blooms were captured in the dahlia garden outside of the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco. Autumn flowers are often the most spectacular: dahlias, fuji mums, spider chrysanthemums and late roses. As regrets for the passing of summer fill my heart these flowers are a sweet consolation.
