Blending opera and computer technology, the Brain Opera is a unique, interactive musical event created by composer Tod Machover and a team of artists and scientists at the MIT Media Lab. A synthesis of art, music and technology, the opera invites the audience to make music on hyperinstruments, which is incorporated into the performance. .

Interesting. I find instruments fascinating! I recently discovered an instrument called the theremin. Checkout this youtube video, it's really interesting. You play he instrument without touching it at all... http://youtube.com/watch?v=jCZdjYrB788
He plays the theremin about 1/2 way through.
