Flouncy indeed. I have never seen such closely-packet petals. Do they have a wonderful smell?
A neighbor lady has a rose bush that she brought to Missouri from Kentucky years ago which smells just wonderful, as a rose should. I travel miles to her yard just for the treat of her vintage rosebush.
Such pretty roses :)

Have a beautiful weekend!
While your roses flounce in the sun, mine are slowly, slowly opening their last flowers before the real cold of winter.

I love big cabbage roses like these, Princess...thanks for the photos. I can dream that they're mine for a little!
Many of these roses are very fragrant. I visited them on a rainy day and the perfume rose as a gentle cloud.
Delightful!
