a Madhatter's Tea Pary, said Princess Haiku

I was near the edge of a reflection today and came upon a Madhatter's Tea Party.

I was invited to join but couldn't as I had a prior appointment with a March Hare.

Such joy as this is rarely seen.

There was Alice and Alice and yet another Alice.

-Magic rabbits and half cups of tea.

Hats galore.

Magic decks of cards.

Nothing was as it seems.

The temptation to join was incredible.

I remembered an Alice from years before who had vanished.

-Splashes of color joined the wind in motion.

Mothers and daughters became a gentle memory.

A bright colored umbrella waved me good by and perhaps next year I will return for High Tea at Jacqueline's.
