a tiny pomegranate tree

A tiny tree with pomegranates from the other world.

Persephone says:

I can be seen slipping down the dusk
in a thin black boat....

spirit of those red seeds

Thank you for posting a photo of a pomegranate tree...I've never seen one before. I realize this is bonsai, but do the regular trees grow very large?

Beautiful blossoms! Not to mention the poetic musings!

Hi Princess,
I have never seen the plant itself. Thank you for sharing.
This fruit has became so popular the past 2 years, after they discovered the special health properties. I have tried it last year for the first time (amazing and beautiful inside) but the taste is not exactly my favorite (too sour) and it is quite messy to eat! My husband loves it though.
A bientot!

Ahhh, the Bonsai. I think of trying this each summer since I am out on the deck each day to care for the little fellows. Then winter approaches and I haven't . . .

maybe this time.

I am feeling better. thanks for the healing words.

I know this bush which has so beautifully brilliant red flowers, such a special colour. But it must be carrefully grown : it is so sensitive to cold ; in Brittany, western part of France, it is possible to see beautiful ones, but not in my garden near Paris.
