a Small Paradise

This is the Japanese garden near the cottage where I have flute lessons. The little trees told me that music from all of the students falls upon their blooms like a gentle rain.

Is Princess Haiku being fanciful or did she really hear the trees?
hint: The answer is in the blossoms.

As always, your page blossoms with ethereal beauty. I know you would appreciate a beautifully written and illustrated Rumi translation/interpretation, by Maryam Mafi and Melita Kolin. It is now out of print, but check Amazon Marketplace, "Hidden Music" by Maryam Mafi and Melita Kolin (there is a link to Melita's webpage, on my page) BTW, this is an English edition, check out Amazon.co.uk. I feel the unfolding of the blossoms to the strains of the flute.

Those are pretty nice trees. Are those "bonsai"?
I bet taking care of such garden would require a lot of patience... japanese patience perhaps, who knows?

Take care!

These are Chinese bonsai A and I don't grow them myself. I am fortunate to be able to visit them when I have a flute lesson.
