Yundi-Li Fantasie on a Theme of Purple Nikes

This is a very amusing commercial featuring Yundi-Li and Nike. Enjoy. It started my day with a smile.

Helene and now Yundi-Li are representing corporate sponsors. I think that if they want or need to this than why not? I would hope they would donate a portion of their earnings to support music for children in schools. But than I am an idealist...

This commercial has my imagination twirling. I wish musicians would sign CDs and fling them into the audience like baseball players do their baseballs. Can you imagine? Lang Lang flings his latest Ravel CD into the "Soon to Exist Green Music Center." It flies high and soars, up, up and up into the balcony where Princess Haiku and her entourage of blog friends sit. Princess Haiku jumps into the air and catches the CD. This becomes Lang Lang's Legendary Ravel Performance.

Does she
1) bring the CD to her magenta lips and vow to never part with it. She creates a shrine for it next to her pet palm tree, Hortense who grows taller every passing day.
2) she sells it on EBAY for the best price.
3) she immortalizes Lang Lang by writing a haiku about it.

The most amusing response wins a link of the day.

she takes her entire living room outdoors and arrages it as it was indoors. she puts the cd in the cd player and turns it on, then she relaxes and listens to it as if she were inside. a crowd gathers to watch this performance art piece. a documentary film is made in two parts
1. her catching the cd and kissing it.
2. her listening to the Cd in the cordoned off street.

Haiku this is just a quickie comment, I'll be back later I just got home from work and now I have to go to watch the Spurs game but I'll be back later tonight, I hope.

PS - this looks like an interesting post, haven't read it yet, but I will.

You all, are so imaginative that I am nonplussed. It must be all that Ravel you listened to. :)

Your clematis's pictures are very neat, and your clematis nice
Mine is too dark and almost black
Actually, it is really much less pretty than yours.

Great post Princess. You could frame the autographed CD and display it in a prominent place as a prized possession! Your posts are wonderful and so creative and artistic. I love this blog.

The cd tumbles in the air, the crowd is reaching, reaching, reaching. From the corner seat comes Princess, kimono a-twist and riding up at the hemline. She prances, she dances, she clobbers her foes. She leaps over the tops of the chairs clutching madly at the air with her long shiny nails. Finally, it is hers.
