I encountered this rather striking apricot poodle sitting outside of a cafe yesterday. His unusual coloring attracted me and he was willing to pose. Chedwick, posted a poodle yesterday so I guess poodles are a buzz in certain circles.
Princess Haiku is a literary collage of poetry, prose, photography, classical music, dance and book reviews, written in the tradition of a poetic memoir.

He is saying, please don't call me an Apricot, I prefer
to be called Sandy or Buff colored.
he is handsome and well groomed.
I asked the owner if he was reddish cream and he said, "No, he's Apricot." So Apricot it is although I agree with you that Sandy or Buff might be a bit more dignified.
:)
This was a good photo Princess - don't think he sees himself as Apricot though! I love poodles. My grandparents always had a black poodle when I was growing up.
Okay, Ched,
Buff it is. I agree; a much more solid name.
