to Chedwick
Cyclone Cyndi
drank a tipped back mint green
black strap drink wearing a
diamond on her shoulder
and long coils of raw silk
falling off her back-just rising
off sea breeze where she had
spent the day, saying Cyndi
do cool, rule, fuel the day with a
mind boggling denouement.

chic and classy - I like it
This conjures up a Tamara de Lempicka painting in my mind. Classy indeed!
Tout dénoué is
Ai ^^
Weather is so ...everything.
Playful poem, nicely done,
Thanks for the encouragement. It was so much fun to write this that I started working on a longer project. It never occurred to me to explore some alternative poetic forms. Even a haiku poet needs a little levity now and then.
I could feel the sea air coming into my lungs as I read this poem.
