Princess! I adore Bob Dylan. As soon as your blog came up on my laptop I started to smile when I saw his face. Thank you for making me smile.
Tangled up in Blue is playing through my mind . . .
Happy B-day, Mr. Dylan.
Anna, this music makes us all smile. thanks for stopping by.
Bob Dylan is great I love listening to his music. Fortunately he's coming to Austin TX for Austin City Limits and I can't wait to see him and his band perform. His talent, his writing, and his voice is remarkable I hope he plays some good old songs there.
The similes never stop flowing with his music to my ears. Cheers to another great birthday Mr. Dylan. Keep on rockin and a rollin. :D
Knockin on Heaven's door is one of my fave songs by Bob Dylan...
I even made a poster about it...long way back! :)
thank you for this post...
Happy bday BOB!
btw,
you have encourage me by your wonderful comment about my post...thank you so much!
You are welcome, Ross.
Certainly a great singer. Long live Bob Dylan!
I wanted to post this comment in your post about the voices of the african children, I liked that music. Every generation of children are a renewed hope for the future.
Take care, and thank you for the link!
nice videos-- nice shots of scarlet rivera!
happy birthday bob we love you
I had the chance to hear Bod dylan in live in Paris
I don't remember when it was
He was wearing red trousers
He was very very thin.
My favorite is "like a rolling stone", maybe because it's the first one I discovered, long, long ago. But I love "all over the watchover" in any mood.
Have you heard of the fake album which was for some time on the web "DylanHearsAWho". Not realy Bob Dylan but a so perfect imitation of his early mood that I was instantly brought years ago.
i don't recall ever seeing this pic you posted of Bob...
very moody but in a good way. pensive.
Pensive was the quality I liked in it. Do you think Bob could relate to that, Ched? BTW Hope your cupcakes were tasty; they looked good.
Bob Dylan is an American treasure in my mind. Just the other day we were recalling seeing him and Tom Petty together in concert (many years ago). My favorite Dylan album is Infidels, the one he did with the Dire Straits guy. When I was in Santa Fe recently I was browsing at a Photo Shop and they had a picture of Bob for $2500.
Thanks for mentioning me and my blog. I love that song, too.
Thanks for the youtube links as well!
It's my favorite as well :)
It has been wonderful having had him around for most of my adult life seeing we are both in the same age group.
He has always been popular in English speaking Africa.
Thanks A's journey. Unfortunately, I was adding on to that post and deleted the whole thing by mistake. :)
Had no idea Jackie, but it's not surprising.
suzie, Youtube rocks.
DigitalPhoto- I haven't heard that music; will check it out.
the bob weekend is making my town quite crowded with bob fans-- a group of women wore these papier mache leoparskin pillbox hats!
That's shocking, Ched! Perhaps you should stay inside until the commotion is over.
