This is a fascinating documentary on The Origins of the Black Virgin of Rocamadour. It is a must see for anyone interested in Goddess lore and medieval French History.
The French composer, Francis Poulenc experienced a conversion experience during a pilgrimage to Rocamadour in 1937 and wrote his litanies to The Black Virgin soon after.
