here in Germany it is not very common, it's probably a matter of time... but I would love to read about your experiences...

Princess, I think you would be a master at the art of Twitter! Your beautiful way of phrasing things is ideally suited for tweeting. It's also an amazing way to meet new and interesting people and find links to fascinating and obscure items. Some people Twitter to network, some Twitter to "seek temporal beauty"(!), some for both. Please, please begin to tweet!

Oh my gosh. How much time could a person possibly have? Do you really have time for it? I just don't get it.
Maybe if you wrote a poem a day and posted it......
I guess I don't understand twitter. I would rather come here to read your poetry and see the photos and ect.

I am thinking I will twitter once a day or when I get on my blog. If one wants to write a good post it takes quite a while and you are right about there being only so many hours in the day. I guess it's a way of miniblogging. -The social network without all the writing.

Painter of Blue- I am going to give it a try and see what possibilities there are with it.

Not. Certainly not for now. But perhaps that's because I use my FB status as my "twittering" place. Actually, mostly I don't want other people to know what I'm up to - and also, I think there's just so much social networking one wants to do or has the time for. Perhaps if I can think of a valid reason for twittering one day I might try it. But for now, nah. It's just another productivity sink.

If you work on the computer anyway, Twitter doesn't take much time. However, some days I get addicted to connecting with the people that I have met!

You can use http://search.twitter.com/ to look for those with similar interests. And research current topics, too.

Would we not then be twits?
I tried this lately and could not get twitter to reliably recognize the passwords etc they require to log in and leave a tiny message. I need space . . . . . . . maybe not now, but I might need space and require the option.
Whyfor is this twitter??

Dennis, I fixed that email address and so you can use it next time.

Twitter appears to be a great way to network socially and discover people's blogs too. It doesn't take much time and looks like fun. Will report more on this.

Twits, goatman, lol. Twitter said they resolved the password glitch. If you try it again I am also Princess Haiku on Twitter.

Update guys.... Twitter is a fascinating thing. Now, I have to learn how to use its features. It appears (from my short intro) to be a way to instantly find topics, people, creative ideas, thoughts you are interested in. And, lots of people on it have their own web pages.
