The First Visitation of the Ghost Bride was on the Solstice

Dreams of first snow, of ivory satin and a ghost bride appeared on the solstice, luminous and glowing. Princess Haiku, said the ghost bride, I am perfect beauty and you are invited to the wedding. An invitation hand written in black ink on thick ivory paper appeared on her pillow.

Suddenly awakening, Princess Haiku reached for the mysterious envelope but alas, the ghost bride and the invitation vanished into fragmentary light.

The poetic text, cried Princess Haiku, the secret location, the guests, the garden must be revealed.

Be assured that there will be a wedding and we are all invited. More to follow....

Hump-day it be!! Welcome Solstice with warmer days and sunlight to brighten our outlooks.
It was 5°F last morning and to be 1° tomorrow morning; dogs are chilly, ducks (??who knows) and I am feeling the chill of the ages in my old bones. Must seek out fire. Oh to be on the coast with warming winds and moderation.

Have a nice holiday times Ms Princess.

Hi Princess,
Just stopping by to wish you happy new year.
I love the dresses - beautiful, yet spooky and mysterious at the same time.
