another dream of a luminous magenta chrysanthemum

Pale fog of yet
another winter day.
Suddenly this star
of absolute magenta.
Surprise, said the
winter garden!

I really like the third picture - the lushness of the flower up against the stark barrenness of the winter tree branches.

What a perfectly beautiful flush of colour to brighten up a cold winter's day! Stunning!

"It was another cold winter day

bound with clouds and dense fog,

Haiku was tired of the average grey

so she posted up vibrant magentas on her blog."

Happy new year Haiku! :D

Ahh, and what a surprise!
Nice flower you catch there, princess.

Wonderful piece of music from Pavarotti, I liked a lot.

I wish you a wonderful New year 2008 P. Haiku! May all your projects become true!

dispelling the rumor once and for all that there are no new year's fireworks in berkeley. what i'm curious about is whether or not that flower moved to these different places on its own or did you help?

happiest of new years dear

This flower has wings. :)

I like the ones with the bare trees in back. Out of this world. Thank you.

Somewhat into bare limbed trees these days, I like the outside ones. They feel almost kind of science fiction-y. Eerie beauty.

Never mind the flower, even if it is frosted. The plant will survive and have green leaves next spring and flowers next autumn...
