Princess Haiku's ghostly interview with Loreena McKennitt

There is an extraordinary, large full moon in the sky tonight for it is at its Perigee. A perfect opportunity for moon viewing and listening to Loreena McKennitt sing, "The Mummers' Dance." It is nearly midnight and I am searching for the Mistress of Secrets. Does she lie in view of the Moon or within? Only the scorching notes of the red-haired avator can say.

"Music is well said to be the speech of angels; in fact, nothing among the utterances allowed to man is felt to be so divine. It brings us near to the infinite." - Thomas Carlyle

hold on a sec, Princess, whilst i grab a fleece and tie up my converse sneakers .... i'll take that walk with you under the moon's Perigee and hunt with you for the Mistress of Secrets.

Loreena - a long time favorite with her ethereal voice and hypnotic melodies. I see us dancing under that full moon to Mummer's Dance ... don't you ?

look again, Princess....beyond those trees...

Loreena is one of my favorite musicians, love her voice, love her songs! And also love that she writes about the history and inspiration that led her to write each song.
