I promised to collect gold tears of a rose before dawn broke, but I was too late. Before my eyes opened from sleep the petals of the flower had already become the sun. I will spend the day trailing after its shadow.
Princess Haiku is a literary collage of poetry, prose, photography, classical music, dance and book reviews, written in the tradition of a poetic memoir.

there is nothing like a drop of dew on a rose petal--
your post makes me want to watch the sunrise and the collect the tears...very delicate, sweet tears.

On the photograph at the top, you managed well having a neat background and the rose at the front neat too. It's very difficult to do.
