Intriguing Signs





I saw intriguing signs when I was walking through flower gardens yesterday. Be careful, poet, I thought, whippets are clearly faster than your words.

lol,yeah greyhounds are very fast no doubt about that. You reminded me of a time when I was playing around and tried to out run one one time with food in my hand, even when I had a head start I was trampled over. My friend's dog jumped onto me and I smashed into the ground while I was running at full speed. By the time I quit rolling around on the ground the food was gone, nowhere to be found. Until I looked over at the dog and saw her licking her lips. I didn't even feel her take the slice of ham out of my hand that's how quick she stole it. After the mishap,dismay, and pain I had a big scrap down my left leg and claw marks on my arms and back as well as some grass in my hair. What a mistake that was I'll never do that again and I'll always have that mental scar in my head. I like that 2.8 second sign, it's so true.


Also there are a lot of Red Poppys about to bloom.......beautiful. :)

Mavin- I had no idea this was a real warning- thought it was just for amusement. Good thing I didn't walk inside the gate:} Glad that you lived to tell your greyhound story.

If a Whippet needs food that bad, and I suspect they do (they are so thin!) perhaps it's best not to try to outrun, but rather, feed them... :)

Princess Haiku intends to adopt a ghost whippet. If you look over the edge of a crescent moon, you will see whippet and I flashing by stars.
