Princess Haiku Offers Consolation to those Affected by the Virginia Tech Tragedy

He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

I was going to say something about the Virginia tragedy, but feel there's not much one can say that expresses so much emotion without taking a full page, so I'm going to move onto your violinist - wow!

Admitedly, I thought I'd just have a quick peek at what was on this video out of curiosity, then say something about Virginia, but I was absolutely impressed by how fabulous the player was - again, wow!

I must say the violinist really was amazing.

suffering and despair.....yes, a bitter cup to drink....if only, if only wisdom would 'stick'...but somehow slips through a loop hole in our brain....and as humans, we tend to then repeat the same mistakes again.
