Amoeba Music

Princess Haiku found a new CD at Amoeba Music in Berkeley this evening. If there is something you are looking for you will surely find it here. Upstairs in the classical department, lute players, flutists and composers work the night shift and know more about music than you could possibly ask.

Oh I love Amoeba!!! Have been to the ones in San Francisco and LA. LA's was heaven. Like you said, I found everything I was looking for... and much more! Thanks for all your comments yesterday :-)

Hey sweety! I hope you have been keeping well. Inspiring post as always. I have never heard of Amoeba before but I'll be sure to look it up as soon as I get some free time. I've recently been buying new age music to go with my Enigma collection. Always good for soul calming and they love it at work too, hehe. Take care!

What a lovely shop! And they have records too! Your photos capture the special atmposhpere I know one would see in person. I want to go there!

What a fantastic store. We never had anything like it in Australia when I came across it in San Fran. Things are changing now. But what a great place to lose yourself.
