Temple of Chrysanthemum

Princess Haiku wandered until she came to the Temple of Chrysanthemum. Where else to go?

I learned from Julie at the Human Flower Project that The New York Botanical Gardens is presenting "Kiku: The Art of the Japanese Chrysanthemum; A flower and cultural exhibition" from October 20-November 18, 20007.

Dear PH,

Thanks for stopping by the Human Flower Project! Love the gorgeous mums and plums on your site.

New York Botantical Garden is planning a big chrysanthemum show this fall: KIKU. It will feature the weird and wonderful cultivation techniques of ozukuri and kengai, as well as information about the role of these flowers in Japanese culture and society. Maybe I'll see you there.

All good wishes,
Julie
