sparkle of the Chrysanthemum within

My chrysanthemums will flash into brilliance and color, illuminating the heavens and everyone who views them thought, Princess Haiku. Any day now my seedlings will arrive in a UPS package from King's Mums.

What miracles of spirit will they become?

There will be five and whom will they grow for?

Time, water, sunlight and patience will reveal their secrets.

I am excited to embark on the way of the Chrysanthemum.

Will you come with me?

Let this journey of a rare flower begin.

Scriabin lifts the veil

A person who reviewed this composition of Scriabin on youtube referred to it as "shadowy and opaque" which I like. I would also add with dark flashes of brilliance and smoky diamonds tossed upon the floor.

Drink of the beauty of perfection.

I am looking forward to future recordings of Lang Lang playing the works of Scriabin. I have a feeling that this combination of composer/performer might just smoke. Just imagine if Lang Lang were the reincarnation of Alexander Scriabin.

Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin, the noted Russian composer, was born on Christmas Day and died at Eastertide -- according to Western-style calendrical reckoning, 7 January 1872 - 14 April, 1915. No one was more famous during his lifetime, and few were more quickly ignored after his death. Although he was never absent from the mainstream of Russian music, the outside world neglected him until recently. Today, there is worldwide resurgence of interest in his music and ideas

If you are interested Lost-in-Symbols has another great recording of Scriabin and an interesting blog.

Princess Haiku Dreamed of a Sorceress Who Was a Shape Shifting White Tiger

"Come, Princess Haiku," White Tiger purred to her.
We will travel into the solitary mountains and drink from a clear pool of the moon. In the dark jade of my eyes will be the future.

Will my fingernail polish match the jade, Princess Haiku asked?
No one answered for White Tiger had vanished...

white tiger,
a dream of jade and fortune
autumn wind
