Diane Dehler is an American Poet who is known for her romantic lyricism. Her poetry often explores and interprets classical mythology in a contemporary voice, evoking universal themes of love, death, birth and pathos. She received a degree from the Creative Writing Program at San Francisco State University, receiving the Outstanding Student of the Year Award. She has published in several literary journals and most recently in The Criterion International Literary Journal, The Taj Mahal Review and has poetry forthcoming in a tribute anthology to Anais Nin. . She is also known for her flower photography, especially her studies of the Orchid, Lotus and Chrysanthemum.
